The Need
AIDS in Africa is changing the face of our world. Millions of children in Africa are currently without families or homes due to this devastating pandemic. In Ghana, at least 170,000 children live on the streets. Many die each year due to malnutrition and preventable diseases such as malaria. On the streets they are subject to traumatic events and a life with no adult guidance. Many children will contract HIV. Many will be trafficked. Many who should be attending primary school will find themselves as head of a household. It is so heartbreaking to see so many starving children without clothes or shelter even though they have the talent and strength to create a better life for themselves. We are doing something to help them create better lives and we invite you to join us.
